LIVE PERFORMANCES
MoPo has played over a hundred festivals in the past 2 decades including multi-year residencies at Bottlerock Napa, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo & Electric Forest and appearances at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Camp Bisco etc. He is always looking for the opportunity to be a part of something special and typically likes to prepare special theme sets for each festival appearance.

CORPORATE EVENTS & SPECIAL EVENTS
MoPo has 2 decades of experience with corporate events and applies the same level of preparation as he would for a public appearance with one difference. On corporates, his music is directed by the client. The goal is to work with the buyer to bring the perfect mix for the client. This often entails a decent ammount of communication and preproduction but it's all part of the job. On site MoPo can be counted on to be on time (early), prepared and have his gear in good working order. Volume adjustments, content changes, and the general stress of high-end clientele are something that he has dealt with for many years. Among previous corporate event clients, MoPo has played for Google, Heineken USA, Oracle, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Sony, Alienware, and Kaiser Permanente at events like Comicon, Vidcon, and Macworld.

WEDDINGS
MoPo has played over 100 weddings but typically only does so for people he knows, or fans who want what he does best. So if your wedding plan is to make a playlist of 50 Top40 songs and then let the bridesmaids attack the DJ all night with requests then he can happily recommend someone else. On the other hand if you need something funky, maybe it's an oldschool sounding funk/soul/disco wedding, or your family digs the rock & roll, or something like that moving into dance music, well then he is your guy. The process starts with a pre-event call that helps build out the schedule and music direction. We go through 10 songs the couple needs to hear & favorite 10 bands/acts that will inform the rest of the set. From there MoPo will construct a wedding mix that will reflect the bride & groom's favorite tastes. That doesn't mean he wont play requests or treat your in-laws like gold, but he will also make sure that the musical vibe stays on the track that YOU, the wedding couple have directed, and not be hijacked by others. He is also adept on the mike, for announcements & the like.
